Mizzou Engineers helped predict no-shows to medical appointments, detected bot behavior, used augmented reality to aid during onboarding and more through senior capstone projects.

Driven by a passion for discovery, Mizzou Engineering fosters a culture rooted in innovation. Before graduating, seniors test their expertise with senior capstone projects.
The projects are an embodiment of the Missouri Method of learning by doing. Some capstones are determined by the students’ fields of study or interests, while others partner with local companies to propose solutions to problems. For every student, the capstone experience is a chance to apply what they’ve learned in the classwork to meaningful work.
