When he was a first-year student, Corey Valleroy went to the College’s New Student BBQ to learn about the various student organizations within Mizzou Engineering. He wanted to get involved and contribute to a club immediately, and he found that opportunity through the Steel Bridge Team.

Computer Science Student Takes First at IEEE Competition

Chenxi Zhao, a Mizzou Engineering graduate student, took first place in his category at an IEEE competition held virtually this past weekend. The IEEE St. Louis student presentations competition is under the umbrella of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, the largest technical professional organization in the world.

CyberTigers Test Their Cybersecurity Skills at Regional Competition

Leah Albietz is on the fast track, whether in or out of her race car. Albietz, BS ME ’20, from Wentzville, MO, went beyond just engine building. At age 13, she started drag racing and joined the National Hot Rod Association (NHRA).

Oruche Receives Stipend from Koerner Family Foundation

A Mizzou Engineering student has received a $10,000 supplemental stipend from the Koerner Family Foundation. And for Roland Oruche, the funding could not have come at a better time.
