Mizzou Engineering STEM Scholars Program shows promising results

A scholarship program that began for civil and environmental engineering students in 2021 has proven so successful, it’s being expanded to other engineering majors. And eventually, the coordinator, Professor Vellore Gopalaratnam, would like a see a similar support system for students studying other STEM programs across Mizzou.

Fall 2022 Dean’s List now available

Mizzou Engineering’s Fall 2022 Dean’s List is now available. During the fall 2022 semester, more than 1,600 undergraduate engineering students earned this academic distinction. Students who achieve between a 3.5 and 4.0 grade point average are placed on the Dean’s High Honor List. Those achieving a 3.0 to 3.49 GPA are on the Dean’s Honor List. To be eligible, students must complete 12 or more undergraduate graded hours. A Dean’s List ranking signifies hard work, determination and incredible academic achievement in a student’s chosen area. Mizzou AeroTigers fly past the competition in breakout season

A group of Mizzou Engineering students is getting ready to take flight this spring at the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) “Design, Build, Fly” competition. The Mizzou AeroTigers are halfway through their first year of being an official student organization and are already flying past the competition across the state and country.
